Meet the Media Coordinator
I am excited to continue my role as the Media Coordinator at East Hoke Middle School for the 2026-2027 school year! With 22 years in education and my second year as Media Coordinator, I'm excited about this role because it aligns with my passion for fostering a love of reading and learning.
I graduated from Fayetteville State University in 2005 with a BS in Elementary Education (K-6) and later earned my Master's in Education from the same institution in 2014. I have dedicated 17 years in Hoke County Schools, where last year, I had the honor of coaching our Battle of the Books team, leading us to victory in the District competition. I am looking forward to guiding this year's team as we aim for another successful season!
Additionally, to further enhance my skills, I will begin pursuing a Master's Degree in Library Science at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro this fall. Thank you all for your continued support as we work together to inspire our students and staff!
